Big Sky Studios have moved from Tweedbank and are now based in the main building of The Gordon Arms Hotel in the Yarrow Valley in the middle of the beautiful Scottish Borders.
The new setup houses a modern live room, double glazed separation panels and solid wall construction all meeting current recommended specifications.

The Control Room itself has Mackie digital hard disk recording equipment and coupled with the Mackie digital mixing desk the equipment is able to produce to the highest recording standards used today. CD Duplication and on body printing facilities are available on site.

Why don't you get in touch and make an appointment for an informal look round the new studio facilities with no pressure.

In the Beginning ...... the Big Sky story

Big Sky Studios were established at Tweedbank near Melrose in the Scottish Borders in 2001. Tom Roseburgh the owner and Senior Sound Engineer has been instrumental in building the studio from a small operation into one of the most respected and technically innovative recording houses in Scotland.

He has however not lost the personal touch that is his hallmark and prospective clients receive the same professional treatment whether a recording novice or an established veteran of the industry.

As well as running the recording studio Tom finds time to play occasional keyboards with Real Time a popular Folk Band, mostly on their foreign gigs.

Future Expansion

Big Sky have recently moved into multimedia production and now have several educational, promotional and historical titles in their portfolio. This area of multi-media marketing and the provision of commercial voice-over and sound bytes is being expanded.

The in-house Big Sky Label is continuing to grow and most of the titles can be bought at Border Tracks.

The recent move to The Gordon Arms has enabled Big Sky to offer "residential recordings" at competitive rates.

Why don't you get in touch and consider making your next recording in the beautifully inspirational Yarrow Valley, while enjoying the convivial hospitality of a Traditional Borders Hotel. More Details....
